Washington County Deputies Would Like To Thank You!

Since 2000, five law enforcement officers have been killed by gun fire in the State of Wisconsin. Three of those five have been killed by rifle fire with the most recent being Officer Craig Birkholz from the Fond Du Lac Police Department. Until now, Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office have had little to no protection from rifle fire. Thanks to the generous donations from our community, The Washington County Deputy Sheriff’s Association was able to cover 75% of the cost toward the vest which carries this protection for the Deputies.
